We are looking for a motivated and reliable Housekeeping Room Attendant to join our team at Green Island Resort, on a permanent part-time basis.
The Position
As a Room Attendant, you’ll help ensure our guests enjoy a clean, comfortable and welcoming stay while working in one of the most unique locations in Far North Queensland.
Reporting to the Rooms Division Manager your key responsibilities will include:
- Clean and maintain guest accommodation rooms to the highest possible standards
- Change bed linens and towels, ensuring they are fresh and well-presented
- Perform laundry duties when required
- Work as part of a collaborative team to deliver exceptional guest experiences

What We’re Looking For:
- Previous housekeeping experience in Australia (Resort experience a bonus)
- Attention to detail and a strong work ethic
- Excellent time management skills to efficiently complete tasks within specified timeframes
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Be willing and able to work a rotating roster, that will include weekends and public holidays
- Be willing and able to commute daily from Cairns to Green Island via Catamaran, plus stay overnight on the island for up to 2 nights per week as required
